Kindergarten Music: The Good Song

The Good Song: Psalm 34:10

Here's a cute song that I'm going to teach the 2-5 year old kids at Sunday School. It can be sung in a round and it sounds so cute and upbeat. For an added bonus, I'll bring along my stuffed animal lion that I got at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. It's an exciting visual, for sure.

Maybe your class would like to make lion puppets for fun. I used to make these paper bag craft puppets and sell them along with Barefoot Books at the local farmer's Market. You can find the directions at How To Make A Tiger Puppet

Have a listen to the Mp3 sample, Seeds of Courage 1 I've enclosed the chord chart below. It's so easy to play on guitar or piano.

Oh yeah, and what's my favorite children's book about the lion?
I'd have to say Jerry Pinkney's classic tale of friendship, The Lion & the Mouse
